How to obtain Owner Access

What is "Owner Access"?

With "Owner Access" we are referring to the fact that owners of a property in a Community with "Owner Access" enabled can log in and access the internal Community information such as
  • Minutes of official Community meetings
  • Budgets and Economic Balance and Profit/Loss statements
  • Other internal Community Documents uploaded so they are available online to members
  • Current Board Members and other contact information
  • Community internal news

Owners in a Community with "Owner Access" enabled can also use the sales interface for the property or properties they own in these Communities, thus putting their property on the market with a lower sales commission or none at all than the average real estate agent charges. They can also inform the administrator of maintenance needs, post complaints or suggestions, ask for information and in other ways directly contact the administrator of the Community for their needs.

Owners and Representatives

In this new version of Acured we have made a distinction between Owners (who actually own the properties in a Community) and their representatives (a physical person acting on the Owners behalf).
Actually, when you sign up, you always do so as a Representative. You can of course represent only yourself! The reason we have made this distinction is that by signing up as a Representative, you can represent several Owners, of which some may also be companies. This greatly facilitates logging in, and gives you access to all the information from one log in, instead of having to log in with several different user names if you represented different owners, or had properties in different Communities. Owners are created by the Representative once they have logged in, as are the properties owned, if they are not already created by the Administrator of the Community. You can check this in the internal property listing, available once you have logged in.

Is "Owner Access" already enabled?

To be able to log in you need a user name and a password. Should you not have these you must first sign up here . Remember to sign up from the Community where you have at least one property. Should you own properties in more than one Community, you can add access to these Communities later.

Is "Owner Access" not enabled for the Community you live in?

If "Owner Access" is not yet enabled, this has to be done first. For "Owner Access" to be enabled, somebody has to administrate the Communities online presence on Acured, and handle different requests that may be made by all the owners in the Community. That can be done in two ways
  1. By contacting the Administrator for the Community and asking him to create the Community online. For this, the administrator has to sign up (FREE) here.
  2. By creating the Community online yourself. You just have to sign up here (FREE) as an Independent Owner. As an independent owner we may request to see that you have Community permission to run their Acured website before we enable "Owner Access". Please remember also that you will have to use two different email addresses if you administrate the Community as an Independent Owner, one as the administrator, and another as owner, simply since the login rights are different.

Acured for Administrators

As an administrator of a community, we put all of Acureds tools at your disposal! Promote the community, stimulate internal communication, and use the online sales system to earn money for your community.

Acured for Real Estate Agents

As a Real Estate Agent you now have access to Acured! Use this to your benefit by uploading the communities that you normally sell properties in! We will display your logo on the community page and refer to your website! This is a great way to receive more quality clients who know where they want to buy a property.
